MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2024:
 
1:20 AM Officers responded to a report of an aggravated assault near Newark Boulevard & Brittany Avenue.
 
8:17 AM Officer Orozco investigated a vehicle theft near Hickory Street. The vehicle was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
10:01 AM Officer Kim investigated a license plate theft near Haley Street & Mirabeau Drive. The license plate was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
1:52 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated an attempted vehicle theft near Jarvis Avenue & Dumbarton Court. The passenger window was shattered, and the ignition was tampered.
 
4:58 PM Officer Kim responded to a disturbance near Newark Boulevard & Lafayette Avenue. A 65-year-old male was arrested for narcotics and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
5:02 PM CSO Lau investigated the theft of a wallet left inside of a vehicle near Dalewood & Ruschin Drives.
 
7:23 PM Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle theft near Thornton Avenue & Cherry Street.
 
8:35 PM Officer Soto responded to a restraining order violation near Spruce Street & Bridgepointe Drive. A 52-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, 2024:
 
1:09 AM Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle theft near Cedar & Newark Boulevards.
 
6:50 AM Officer Lor investigated an attempted vehicle theft on Newpark Mall Road. The door lock was removed and taken from the vehicle.
 
3:11 PM Officer Piquette responded to Thornton Avenue & Cedar Boulevard and arrested a 40-year-old male for possession of a stolen vehicle.
 
8:18 PM Officer Dale recovered a stolen vehicle on Newpark Mall Road.
 
10:50 PM Officer Soto responded to a disturbance near Dumbarton Court & Jarvis Avenue. A 43-year-old male was arrested for corporal injury and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2024:
 
9:18 AM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. The vehicle door was tampered with and there was no reported loss.
 
10:30 AM CSO Lau investigated a license plate theft near Enterprise Drive & Willow Street.
 
THURSDAY, AUGUST 29, 2024:
 
6:33 AM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included multiple power tools.
 
7:34 AM Officer Medina investigated a trespassing incident near Enterprise Drive & Filbert Street. A 40-year-old male was arrested for violating probation terms, obstructing arrest, and possession of narcotics. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
9:50 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle theft near Timber Street & Central Avenue.
 
10:08 AM Officer Herrera responded a traffic incident near Bay Breeze Street & Headlands Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested for a hit and run. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
3:59 PM Officer Herrera responded to a disturbance on Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. A 42-year-old male was arrested for violation of probation terms, possession of narcotics, and resisting arrest. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
8:30 PM Officer Berlanga responded to the area of Newark Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue. A 53-year-old male was arrested for violation of probation and evading arrest. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
9:39 PM Officer Piquette investigated a license plate theft near Newark Boulevard & Bellhaven Avenue.
 
FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, 2024:
 
12:28 AM Officer Berlanga conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a red light near Dijon Drive & Mayhews Landing Road. A 34-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail. 
 
12:07 PM Officer Medina investigated a robbery near Thornton Avenue & Cedar Boulevard. Reported loss included power tools.
 
9:08 AM Officer C. Torres arrested a 23-year-old male for driving under the influence near Thornton Avenue & Mayhews Landing Road.
 
SATURDAY, AUGUST 31, 2024:
 
12:49 AM Officer Lara investigated a vehicle theft on Mayhews Landing Road. Additional reported loss included a backpack, and personal items left inside the vehicle.
 
3:28 AM Officer Williams performed a traffic stop on a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the road near Cherry Street & Central Avenue. A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
7:05 AM Officers recovered a stolen vehicle near Thornton Avenue & Cedar Boulevard with the help of a community camera alert.
 
10:14 AM Officer Lomeli conducted a welfare check near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. A 28-year-old male with an outstanding warrant was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
11:25 AM Officer Jackman investigated a battery near Bridgepointe Drive & Del Monte Avenue. A 25-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant. She was cited and released on scene.
 
5:22 PM CSO Mora investigated a license plate theft near Charles & Darvon Street.
 
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2024:
 
8:03 PM CSO Vuong investigated a license plate theft near Cherry Street & Stevenson Boulevard.
 
10:10 PM Officer Kapu investigated multiple arsons that occurred near Jarvis Avenue, Cedar Boulevard, and Haley Street.
