Single Vehicle Injury Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 09/03/2021 at approximately 2110 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of M-51 and Maple Ln., in Howard Township, Cass County Michigan.
Investigation shows that 65-year-old, Dowagiac resident, Valerie Norman was operating Northbound on M-51 near the Maple Ln intersection when she ran off the roadway to the right. The vehicle rolled over, and came to its final rest on its roof. Norman was transported to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Seatbelts were worn. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. This crash remains under investigation. Assisting in this crash was SMCAS and Howard Township Fire.
