Advisory

DTE Has restored all power to the West Road Sub-Station and has several portable generators around the township for any unforeseen needs

**Power Outage Update - West Road Substation**

I want to give an updateto inform you that the West Road Substation, which handles power for the southern portion of Washington Township, experienced a significant outage when a transformer blew up on the evening of Friday, August 30th. Thanks to the swift response from DTE, power was initially restored by 4 a.m. the following morning, and full power was completely restored by Sunday evening, September 1st. Portable generators have been deployed on-site as a backup measure.

DTE is currently investigating the cause of the transformer failure, and we will keep you informed with any further updates once the investigation is complete. Additionally, we will share the next steps DTE plans to take to improve the substation moving forward as updates are released.

We extend our special thanks to the DTE workers and staff for their dedication in restoring power to our community.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
