Adult arrested in Connection with Gang Graffiti
On the morning of September 3, 2024, gang graffiti was discovered on the campus of a local middle school. The Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) quickly identified the suspect as 28-year-old Tristen Krieger, a resident of Simi Valley. This afternoon, Krieger was contacted at his residence, arrested for vandalism, and released on a misdemeanor citation.
The Simi Valley Police Department’s SET team is an entity within the Special Enforcement Bureau and was established as a crime suppression unit meant to address various crimes within the City. Those duties include the enforcement of lewd/dissolute conduct in public, Human Trafficking enforcement, ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) enforcement investigations and assessment, the enforcement of street-level narcotics, warrant service on wanted individuals and gang enforcement.
