Activity for September 4, 2024:
- Officer Bean responded to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a warrant pick-up. A 35-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Fugate was dispatched to the 800 block of Greenwood Avenue for an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen with JSO; the vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
- Officers visited several schools during the day.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject near South Blackstone Street and West Washington Avenue. A 26-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
- Officer Tenney responded to an assault in the 1500 block of East Ganson Street. A 55-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault.
- Officer Tripp made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will also be sought on the male for possessing narcotics.
- Sergeant Burkart conducted a property security check in the 700 block of East Washington Avenue.
- Officer Tripp assisted JNET with search warrants in the 1100 block of Williams Street and the 1400 block of Maple Avenue.
