Deputies in Apple Valley Recover Stolen Property Belonging to Multiple Residents

LOCATION: Rincon Road & Shoshonee Road and surrounding neighborhoods, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Wesley Robert Kimble, 22-year-old male of Hesperia
Cade William Goslyn, 18-year-old male of Hesperia
Daniel Anthony Hernandez, 20-year-old male of Apple Valley
Zachary Ryan Pond, 25-year-old male of Apple valley
VICTIM(S): Numerous residents of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
Deputies from Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to a suspicious activity call early on Thursday, September 5, 2024. A proactive resident in the area of High Falls Trail and Massai Trail reported their Ring camera had gone off and showed two male subjects wearing masks in their backyard. Deputies responded to the area and began to investigate.
Deputy W. Ray observed a vehicle driving in the area of Rincon Road and Shoshonee Road and conducted a traffic stop. Deputies contacted four male occupants of the vehicle and through investigation recovered a large amount of stolen property. All four occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of stolen property.
Soon after the arrest, victims began calling regarding vehicles which had been broken into, damaged and items stolen. With the assistance of additional personnel, a large quantity of the stolen property was returned to victims.
All four subjects: Wesley Robert Kimble, Cade William Goslyn, Daniel Anthony Hernandez and Zachary Ryan Pond, were booked into High Desert Detention Center. Wesley Robert Kimble is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail; Cade William Goslyn and Zachary Ryan Pond are each being held in lieu of $30,000 bail; and Daniel Anthony Hernandez is being held without bail.
Apple Valley Police Department retains some unclaimed property at this time.
