One Injured in Roll over Crash 
Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on September 5th, 2024, at approximately 1957 Hours, his Deputies responded to an Injury roll over Crash, on Barron Lake Rd., near White St., Howard Twp., Cass County, Michigan.
The initial investigation shows a vehicle driven by Oscar Davis lll (44 YO of Elkhart IN), was traveling northbound on Barron Lake Rd. When Davis reached down to pick up a pack of cigarettes, Davis looked up, and realized he was in the wrong lane. Davis tried to correct himself and over corrected, witch caused him to roll his vehicle multiple times. Davis was transported by SMCAS ambulance to South Bend Hospital for injuries sustained in this crash.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash. Seatbelts were not worn.
Assisting agencies on scene were Howard Fire, and SMCAS Ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
