Wilmington Police charge two women with drug offenses, arrest three wanted women following investigation:
Wilmington Police have charged two women with drug offenses, and arrested three wanted women following an investigation.
On August 27 and 28, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division conducted an investigation into reports of drug and other criminal activity in the areas of Maryland Avenue and Lancaster Avenue. Through the course of their investigation, police made contact with 42-year-old Nicole Zambrano, who was found to be in possession of 1 Alprazolam pill and drug paraphernalia, and 41-year-old Shannon Fisher, who was found to be in possession of .2 grams of crack cocaine, and .021 grams of heroin. Zambrano and Fisher were taken into custody without incident. Additionally, police took three female individuals into custody without incident, who were wanted on unrelated matters.
Nicole Zambrano has been charged with the following offenses in addition to warrants on an unrelated matter:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Shannon Fisher has been charged with the following offenses in addition to warrants on an unrelated matter:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance – Two Counts
