5th Precinct’s Community Service Officers G. Tanner and J. Miranda hosted a book bag giveaway at two different locations, 19 Stratford Place and Clinton Avenue and South 10th Street. The Officers distributed over 100 book bags to students in the South Ward. Attendees were also treated to ice cream. Parents were offered public safety information. Officers Tanner and Miranda offer a special thanks to Newark Police Detective C.
