Amarillo Police Proactive Criminal Enforcement (PACE) Officers and DEA agents were investigating a drug dealer that has recently been staying in Amarillo. This suspect was identified as Myron Glover Jr., male, 09/11/1992. Glover was believed to distribute large amounts of fentanyl in Amarillo.  He was located at a house in the 6900 block of Apollo and SWAT and Amarillo PD task force officers were called to assist.  Glover left the house and evaded in his vehicle. Officers blocked the vehicle, and Glover ran from the car but was captured after a foot pursuit. Glover had about one pound of methamphetamine in his clothing.  Officers located approximately two pounds of marijuana in Glover’s vehicle.  Officers obtained a search warrant for the house that Glover had been at. While searching the home, they found 13 pounds of methamphetamine, approximately 16,000 fentanyl pills, 19 pounds of marijuana, 7 firearms, and nearly $11,000 cash.  The Assistant United States Attorney in Amarillo accepted charges on Glover, and he was booked into Randall County for a federal drug charge.
