Police Seek Help Locating Greenbrook Man Wanted for Questioning in Shooting Investigation
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help locating Troy Dacruz, 19, of Greenbrook, NJ, who is wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
At approximately 9:44 p.m., Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 200-300 blocks of 18th Avenue. Responding officers recovered ballistics in the area, but no victims nor property damage were located.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking Troy Dacruz for questioning. He is described as Hispanic, 6’5” tall, and 180 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes.
