The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, September 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. Silent Roller Disco will be taking place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and details can be found at newlenox.net/events. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
