ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help locating at-risk missing person, Raul Varela Jr. He is a 60-year-old male Hispanic who was last seen on August 29, 2024, at 10:00 am on the 24000 block of Woolsey Canyon Road in the city of Canoga Park.
Mr. Varela is described as 5’05” tall, 160 lbs., with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, white T-shirt, and blue jeans.
Mr. Varela is medication dependent. His family is concerned for his well-being.
