Pomona Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision 
INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision

VICTIM: Female Adult (Identification pending notification to family).
On Friday, September 6, 2024 at about 9:56 PM, Pomona Police officers responded to the area of Mission Bl and Myrtle Ave in reference to a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on-scene and located the pedestrian laying in the roadway suffering from severe injuries. Los Angeles County Fire/ Paramedics arrived on-scene and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the location. The driver of the involved vehicle had left the location, but later turned themselves in to the Pomona Police Department. Officers from the Traffic Services Bureau are currently investigating this incident and speaking with the involved driver.
This crash is being investigated by the Pomona Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team.
