9/7/2024 3pm Boil order lifted for the entire city. The City of Forsyth wants to thank its citizens for their patience during the repair of the 6” water main that was damaged along Coy Ave near the school. The City of Forsyth takes public health and safety seriously. When a break in the system of this magnitude occurs, city crews and officials must follow procedures to protect the health and safety of its citizens. Although inconvenient, the procedures are designed to keep you and our drinking water safe. The system has now been repaired. All of the well tests and end use samples have come back from the laboratory with no issues found. In return, the boil order has been lifted. The entire city is now in the clear and operating normally.
