1. Person Shot (0457) 1300 Block of South Pilgrim Street, Park District
The male victim, 31, was shot (see item #8 on the 9/6/24 Night Watch Commander’s Daily) by the suspect. The suspect was located and arrested. ARRESTED: Damian Rodriguez, 29, for assault with a deadly weapon, weapon charges, and burglary.
2. Robbery (0807) East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and South Aurora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 40, was contacted by a female who asked him if he wanted sex. The female took money from his hand and pushed him. The victim left and called the police. Suspect: White or Hispanic female.
3. Battery on an Officer (1000) 2300 Block of Titleist Court, Seaport District
Officers responded to the listed location for a report of a female requesting police assistance. Officers contacted the suspect and attempted to detain her after it appeared that she was under the influence of an intoxicating substance. The suspect pulled away and grabbed an officer. The suspect was taken to the ground and placed in handcuffs. ARRESTED: Trina Escobar, 53, for battery on an officer, disorderly conduct, and warrants.
