INCIDENT: PC 69(A): RESISTING AN EXECUTIVE OFFICER
LOCATION: Chamberlain Road/ Bellflower Street, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Morelia Zavala, 25 years of age, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
On Friday, September 6, 2024, at 7:03pm, Detective C. Bennington and Deputy R. Morales were in and the area of Chamberlaine Road and Bellflower Street when they observed a subject, later identified as Morelia Zavala, huffing from an aerosol canister and appeared to be suffering from a medical emergency.
Zavala attacked and assaulted both officers when they attempted contact. Zavala was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Zavala is currently being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
