MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2024:
 
3:04 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle theft near Jarvis Avenue & Haley Street. The vehicle was quickly recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
10:38 AM Officer Orozco investigated a license plate theft near Thornton Avenue & Saint Edwards Street. The license plate was recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
3:50 PM Officer Orozco recovered a stolen license plate from Civic Terrace Avenue & Saint Edwards Street.
 
8:40 PM Officer Dale investigated a burglarized locker at Newpark Mall Road.
 
11:06 PM Officer Norvell recovered a stolen vehicle on Newpark Mall Road.
 
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2024:
 
4:29 AM Officer Smith recovered a stolen license plate near Willow Street & Thornton Avenue.
 
4:53 PM Officer Pacheco responded to a report of a battery near Cedar Boulevard & Joaquin Murieta Avenue. A 31-year-old female was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for corporal injury.
 
6:09 PM Officer Norvell investigated a commercial burglary near Thornton Avenue & Newark Boulevard.
 
10:13 PM Officer Norvell recovered a stolen vehicle near Port Sailwood Drive & Cedar Boulevard.
 
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2024:
 
4:01 AM Officer Lara investigated a vehicle theft near Haley Street & Mirabeau Drive.
 
8:33 AM Officer Orozco investigated a vehicle theft near Brittany Avenue & Newark Boulevard. The vehicle was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
8:41 AM Officer C. Torres investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Mowry Avenue & Cedar Boulevard. Reported loss included a bag containing rope and climbing equipment.
 
11:33 AM Officer C. Torres was on proactive patrol and located an unoccupied vehicle on Smith Avenue & Cherry Street. The passenger window was observed smashed-in, loss is currently unknown.
 
3:24 PM Community Services Officer (CSO) Mora investigated a vehicle burglary near Newpark Mall Road. The rear container locks were forced open, resulting in the loss of power tools and batteries.
 
4:21 PM Officer Kim investigated a package theft near Seawind Way & Hickory Street.
 
8:00 PM Officers responded to a trespassing incident near Cedar Boulevard & Joaquin Murieta Avenue. A 65-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
8:20 PM CSO Mora investigated a license plate theft near Newpark Mall Road.
 
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2024:
 
12:02 AM Officer Pacheco investigated a vehicle burglary near Newark Boulevard & Thornton Avenue.
 
2:20 AM Officer Dale investigated a vehicle theft near Cedar Boulevard & Cedar Court.
 
6:58 AM Officer Kim investigated a window smash vehicle burglary at Smith Avenue & Guava Drive. The interior was rummaged, with no known loss.
 
1:03 PM Officer Medina investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Hyacinth Street & Honeysuckle Drive. There was no reported loss.
 
3:06 PM CSO Mora investigated a theft of an unlocked vehicle near Newark Boulevard & Dairy Avenue. Additional loss included a vehicle key and credit card.  She later recovered a stolen vehicle near Enterprise Drive & Willow Street.
 
4:54 PM CSO Mora investigated multiple package thefts near Willow Street & Enterprise Drive.
 
10:34 PM Officer Berlanga investigated a vehicle theft near Balentine Drive & Stevenson Boulevard.
 
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2024:
 
7:06 AM Officer Kim investigated the theft of vehicle wheels near Joaquin Murieta Avenue & Cherry Street.
 
8:37 AM Officer C. Torres investigated a vehicle theft near Lake Boulevard & Edgewater Drive.
 
9:03 AM While on routine patrol, officers arrested a 21-year-old female on the 37400 Block of Sycamore Street for possession of narcotics. She was cited and released on scene.
 
4:26 PM Officer Kim investigated a theft of business furniture near Balentine Drive & Stevenson Boulevard.
 
7:15 PM Officer Lara arrested a 31-year-old male for corporal injury near Cherry Street & Plummer Avenue. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
11:05 PM Officer Losier arrested a 19-year-old male for public intoxication near Cherry Street & Baine Avenue.
 
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2024:
 
1:48 AM Officer Lara responded to a fight in progress at Dumbarton Court & Jarvis Avenue. A 32-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for battery.
 
3:28 AM Officers arrested an 18-year-old female and 22-year-old for speeding near Cherry Street & Thornton Avenue. Both were released with a citation to appear.
 
10:20 AM Officer Orozco investigated a vehicle theft near Baine Avenue & Cherry Street.
 
12:40 PM Officer Jackman investigated a theft of jewelry on Newpark Mall Road.
 
6:38 PM Officer Stevenson responded to a security alarm near Filbert Street & Central Avenue. A 30-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding bench warrant, identity theft, possession of narcotics, and providing false information. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
8:13 PM Officer Dale was on proactive patrol and arrested a 41-year-old male for an outstanding warrant while on Thornton Avenue & Newark Boulevard. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
9:00 PM Officer Williams contacted a 45-year-old male known to be on probation near Thornton Avenue & Mayhews Landing Road. He was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for identity theft, possession of burglary tools, narcotics, contempt of court orders, and delaying arrest.
 
10:37 PM Officer Swadener arrested both a 26-year-old and 53-year-old male for public intoxication near Parada Street & Stevenson Boulevard. Both were booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
4:14 PM Officer Lomeli investigated a residential burglary near Brittany Avenue & Newark Boulevard. Reported loss included various jewelry and precious metals. Entry was made via a removed bedroom window screen. 
 
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2024:
 
11:45 AM Officer Jackman investigated an aggravated assault near Newark & Cedar Boulevards. A 53-year-old male was arrested for assault, threats, violating the terms of his probation, and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
9:59 PM Officer Williams investigated a suspicious person reported near Ash Street & Wells Avenue. A 40-year-old male was arrested for violating the terms of his probation and possession of narcotics. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
10:38 PM Officers responded to a disturbance near Edgewater Drive & Cedar Boulevard. A 41-year-old male was arrested for vandalism and violating the terms of his probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
11:39 PM Officer Stevenson investigated a vehicle theft near Jarvis Avenue & Dumbarton Court. Additional loss included a wallet left in the vehicle.
