Wilmington Police have arrested a man on a drug charge.
On September 5, at approximately 2:10 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 200 block of South Harrison Street, when they observed a male subject acting in a suspicious manner. Officers made contact with 22-year-old Sabeer Mumin, who was found to be in possession of 47.5 grams of marijuana packaged for sale, and $8,849. Mumin was taken into custody without incident.
Mumin has been charged with the following offense:
- Possession of Marijuana Other Than Personal Use Quantity
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $7,550 cash-only bail.
