INCIDENT: PC 626.10(A)(1): POSSESSION OF A WEAPON ON SCHOOL GROUNDS
PC 69(A): RESISTING AN EXECUTIVE OFFICER WARRANTS
LOCATION: Adelanto High School
SUSPECT: Jeramy Trujillo, 47 years of age, resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Monday, September 9, 2024, at 2:57pm, Deputy Matt Lewis contacted Jeramy Trujillo as he entered the Adelanto High School campus.
During contact with Trujillo, Deputy Lewis learned he had warrants for his arrest. When Trujillo was informed he was under arrest, he became combative and attempted to escape but was eventually taken into custody. Trujillo was found in possession of a knife and drug paraphernalia.
Trujillo was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for possession of a weapon on school grounds, resisting an executive officer, and his outstanding warrants. He is currently being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
