Full Notification

On September 8, 2024, at 5:28 p.m. Deputy Wyatt Hunt served a search warrant at 820 S. Hart Street in Princeton after gathering intelligence that illegal drug activity was being conducted at the residence.  Before serving the search warrant Deputy Hunt submitted the search warrant to the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office and the warrant was signed off by an impartial Gibson County Court Official. 
 
Upon arriving at the residence Officers with the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Princeton Police Department assisted Deputy Hunt in serving the search warrant.  Once the investigation was completed Deputy Hunt placed 43 year old James Austin Jr and 38 year old Desiree Hornback of Princeton into custody and transported them to the Gibson County Jail. 
 
Upon arriving at the Jail Mr. Austin was charged with: Dealing of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Resisting Law Enforcement. 
 
Desiree Hornback was charged with Dealing of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
 
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
