Structure Fire

On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson, Haledon Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, and Fire Chief Tom Bakker, please be advised that the Haledon Fire Department, supported by the Haledon Police Department, Haledon Department of Public Works, Haledon Construction Department, and local fire departments, is currently addressing a fire at the textile factory located on the 200th block of Morrissee Avenue between Henry Street and Barbour Street. All workers were safely evacuated and there were no reported injuries as of this writing. Members of the public are urged to avoid the area. 

 
We are in communication with the administration of Haledon Public School and have additional officers on-site to ensure that our children have a safe route home. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this situation. #Haledon

Instructions:

Avoid Henry Street, and also avoid Morrissee Avenue between Henry Street and Barbour Street.
