Register for the Hoboken Police 9/11 Blood Drive
The Hoboken Police Department and New Jersey Blood Services are hosting a blood drive tomorrow, Sept. 11 at Hoboken Police Headquarters, 106 Hudson St.
As part of the 9/11 Day of Service, the NJBS blood mobile will be in the HPD parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are preferred and can be made at www.nybs/drive or by scanning the QR code in the attached flyer. Walk-ins are welcome but dependent on availability.
Donate toiletries today!
The Office of Constituent Services is holding a toiletry drive to benefit those in need in and around the Hoboken community.
Residents are encouraged to donate travel size unopened toiletry products including shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, wet wipes, tissues, and deodorant, at City Hall on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Sept. 30. Residents should enter City Hall from Newark Street.

Rodent Control and Mitigation Community Education Session
The City of Hoboken, the Hoboken Health Division, and the Hoboken Office of Constituent Services are hosting a Community Education Session on Rat Control and Mitigation on Oct. 9, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.
Experts in the field will be on hand to discuss a variety of topics including the rodent lifecycle and ecosystem, how to seal burrows on private property, prevention strategies including containerization, updates on City mitigation efforts, regulatory codes and enforcement, and more.

Learn how to create a last will and testament
Residents over the age of 60 years old are invited to a free "Make a Will" event, sponsored by Assemblyman John Allen. The event will be held at the Senior Center located at the Multi Service Center, 124 Grand St., on Monday, Sept. 16, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Attorneys from Northeast New Jersey Legal Services will be available to draft wills at no cost for qualifying seniors and veterans residing in Hudson, Bergen, or Passaic counties.
Pre-registration is required. Those interested should call or text (862) 378-0310 with their full name and the words "MAKE A WILL" to reserve a spot.
