FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The City of Amsterdam announces that due to a water main break on West Main Street, the following road closure and detour will take place, today Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. and will remain closed until work is complete:
West Main Street/Rt. 5 – Between Caroline Street & Henrietta Street;
Evelyn Street – ALL SOUTHBOUND traffic from Division Street
to West Main Street
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes during this time as no traffic will be allowed through and detour signs will be posted.
