INCIDENT: PC 287(I) - Oral Copulation/Victim Intoxicated, Etc.
LOCATION: 1900 block of J Street, Needles, California
SUSPECT(S): Desmond Wiley, 18-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential Male Juvenile, 15-years-old, Resident of Needles
SUMMARY: On Monday, September 2, 2024, at approximately 7:21 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a report of possible sexual abuse to a 15- year-old male juvenile. Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim was sexually abused and immediately began a criminal investigation. During the investigation, deputies discovered the suspect was Desmond Wiley.
On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at approximately 7:33 p.m., deputies contacted Wiley. Wiley was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Wiley remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $80,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
