Join Us for the City of Westlake's Community Run and Safety & Wellness Fair!

Start your day with a fun, family-friendly event hosted by the Westlake Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Annual Safety & Wellness Fair. Lace-up your sneakers and take part in the run/walk, then stay to enjoy the fair!

Event Schedule:

• 7:30 AM: Registration & Packet Pick-Up
• 8:15 AM: Kids Dash (ages 8 and under)
• 8:30 AM: 5k Run/Walk, Timed Speed Walk, and 1-Mile Fun Walk

Registration Fees:

• Pre-Registration (thru September 2, 2024):
  • 5k / Timed Speed Walk: $35
  • 1-Mile Walk: $25
  • Children 5 & Under: Free (5k/1-Mile Walk)
  • Kids Dash: Free (Breakfast ticket required)
  • Additional Pancake Breakfast Ticket: $8
• September 3, 2024, thru Race Day:
  • 5k / Timed Speed Walk: $40
  • 1-Mile Walk: $30
  • Kids Dash: Free (Breakfast ticket required)
  • Additional Pancake Breakfast Ticket: $8

Race Highlights:

• A timed 5K Run and Speed Walking Division, plus an untimed 1-Mile Fun Walk
• Post-race refreshments, fruit, and awards pick-up
• Raffle prizes during the pancake breakfast
• Race shirts for participants registered by 9/2/24
• Event goody bags for the first 200 registrants

New This Year: Pancake Breakfast! From 9 AM to 11 AM, enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast catered by Chris Cakes, famous for its flying flapjacks! Each race registration comes with a free breakfast ticket (children 5 & under eat free). Additional tickets can be purchased for $8.

• Safety & Wellness Fair starting at 10:00 AM, hosted by University Hospitals and the City of Westlake
