* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Assumption Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northwestern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southwestern St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southern St. James Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southwestern St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 618 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Thibodaux, Napoleonville, Hahnville, Chackbay, South Vacherie, North Vacherie, Raceland, Labadieville, Supreme, Des Allemands, Paradis, Bayou Gauche, Boutte and Luling. This includes the following Interstate... Interstate 310 between mile markers 9 and 11.
