Temple Station will be hosting a Prescription Turn in Event for the public at the station (8838 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City) on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is for all unwanted/outdated prescribed medication. All medications should be placed in a bag (sandwich size bags are preferred) prior to arriving at Temple Station. Medication bottles should be disposed of at your residence as we cannot assist in disposal.
All sharps can be placed in the white sharps’ container located in the north-west corner of the front parking lot of the Temple Station.
All over the counter medication and aerosols containers (inhalers) cannot be accepted at the event. please visit the U.S. Food & Drug Administration website (Where and How to Dispose of Unused Medicines | FDA) for directions on proper disposal of these medications.
