1. Person Shot (2045) Waterloo Road, Park District
The male victim, 41, was walking in the area when the suspect shot him. The victim self-transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.
3. Weapon Arrest (2205) Pershing Ave and Princeton Ave, Civic District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop at the listed location. The driver was contacted but refused to follow commands. The suspect struck an officer and fled in his vehicle, leading officers on a short vehicle pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody after he abandoned his car and fled on foot. Officers later recovered a firearm and narcotics. ARRESTED: Eric Mullins, 45, for battery on an officer, weapons charges, resisting arrest, evading, and narcotics possession.
4. Resisting Arrest (2229) 1300 Block of South Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and contacted the suspect, who was under the influence and refusing to comply with commands. The suspect brandished a knife at officers, and force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Enrique Gomez, 31, for brandishing and resisting arrest.
5. Person Stabbed (0043) 1800 Block of North California, Civic District
The victim, 28, was at an unknown park when the suspect stabbed him. The victim self-transported to an area hospital and was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Unknown race male.
