We’ve been made aware that community members are receiving fraudulent calls that appear to be from official Santa Clara Police Department numbers. These numbers are being spoofed by scammers to disguise their identity and demand money.
Please remember: The Santa Clara PD will never ask for any payment over the phone.
If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from these scams.
