Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who broke into a convenience store and stole cash and merchandise earlier today, September 13, 2024.
The burglary took place at approximately 3 a.m. on Pacific Street at the Downneck Convenience Store when the suspect was captured on surveillance video smashing the front glass door with a rock. Once inside, he took money from the cash register, several lottery scratch-off tickets, and multiple boxes of cigarettes.
