After a five-year hiatus, the Asbury Park ALIVE event will take place on Saturday, 9/21/24 from 12pm-4pm at various locations around the community. In partnership with the Asbury Park Quality of Life Community Festival occurring in Springwood Park, the Asbury Park Mayor's Wellness Committee is coordinating a host of activities at nearby sites to promote physical and emotional health, physical activity, and healthy eating. Pick up your AP Alive Passport and get it stamped at each site to so you can enter a raffle to win a bicycle and other great prizes at 3:45pm in Springwood Park. Enjoy these Asbury Park ALIVE events:

• E-Scooter Safety Classes by Veo and EZ Ride (Hammary Courts at 179 Prospect Ave)
• Container Gardening with the Asbury Park Library and Home Drugstore (Hammary Courts at 179 Prospect Ave)
• Learn to Ride & Bike and Bike Safe Skills by EZ Ride (Obama School parking lot at the corner of 1300 Bangs Ave at DeWitt Ave)
• Fresh Produce Giveaway and Healthy Eating Info & Activities by Interfaith Neighbors and Sheffield’s (Sheffield's Store at 1106 Bangs Ave)
• Health Fair & Screening by Hackensack Meridian Health (Second Baptist Church parking lot at 124 Atkins Venue at the corner of Atlantic & Union Aves)
• Bring It Musical Event (Rebirth Church Parking Lot at 42 Dewitt Avenue)
• Kid's Corner Competitions and Prizes (Tennis Field at 1309 Bangs Avenue)
• DJ Kojak & Gospel Fest (Homeplate at 901 Springwood Avenue)
