TODAY - FREE! Car Seat Check Event! Harbor Island Park East Basin 9AM to 1 PM. VMPD Officers are available to check the proper installation of your child's passenger seat. Parents and caregivers are welcome! The Police Department also has a limited amount of FREE replacement car seats available at no cost, for existing seats that may be out of warranty or recalled (while supplies last, restrictions apply). This program was made possible from a grant from the Governer's Traffic Safety Committee.
