1. Robbery (1640) 6400 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male employee victim, 27, confronted a shoplifting suspect when the suspect brandished a knife. The suspect fled the business with store merchandise, and the victim was not injured. SUSPECT: White male adult.
2. Robbery Arrest (1710) 2100 Block of South San Joaquin Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 32, was working at the call location when the suspect entered and demanded money. When the victim refused, the suspect attempted to stab him. The suspect fled, but officers located the suspect vehicle a short time later. The suspect fled from the officers and was taken into custody after his vehicle became disabled. The victim declined medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Marcelo Delacruz Torres, 18, for robbery, evading, and resisting arrest.
3. Homicide (0014) 900 Block of Henry Long Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of a shooting and located the male victim, 57, with gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
4. Shooting into a Dwelling (0130), 2000 Block of Shady Forest Way, Civic District
The female victim, 29, and her family were inside the residence when it was struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries. There is no suspect information.
