Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in August, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 300 block of West 7th Street. On September 11, at approximately 10:40 a.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 47-year-old Jeffrey Rose into custody without incident. Police recovered 2,640 grams of marijuana and THC products, $1,510, and drug paraphernalia.
Rose has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released after posting $14,200 secured bail.
