Water Repair in Progress on 3rd Ave Ext.- Cedar Crest to Rens City Line to experience temp shut down of water 
The Water Department and the Town's contractor are currently working to repair a water main break on the transmission line on 3rd Ave Ext in the area of New Rural Cemetery.
Residents from Cedar Crest Drive down to the Rensselaer City Line and all neighborhoods/side streets in between will experience a temporary shut down of water. The length of the shut down at this time is unknown and the Water Department and the contractor are working to make the repair. Once the water is shut off, they will have a better understanding of the extent of the break and at that time will be able to evaulate the work required to repair it.
