MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2024:
 
10:12 AM Officer Lomeli responded to a disturbance near Cedar Boulevard & Mowry School Road. A 50-year-old male was arrested for battery and violating probation terms. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
12:28 PM Officer Orozco investigated the burglary of a storage unit near Jarvis Avenue & Haley Street.
 
1:40 PM Community Services Officer (CSO) Lau investigated a license plate theft near Cedar Boulevard & Thornton Avenue.
 
2:49 PM Officer Orozco arrested a 34-year-old male for destruction of criminal evidence and a bench warrant near Newark Boulevard & Britany Avenue.
 
6:43 PM Officer Cervantes recovered a stolen vehicle near Kiote Drive & Crystal Springs.
 
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2024:
 
4:13 AM Officer Soto recovered a stolen vehicle near Mayhews Landing Road & Fair Avenue.
 
9:13 AM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle theft on Newark Boulevard & Musick Avenue. It was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
10:36 AM CSO Lau investigated a window smash vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included clothing left in the rear seat.
 
4:14 PM Officers investigated a report of gunshots near Thornton Avenue & Ash Street.
 
6:12 PM CSO Lau investigated a bicycle theft near Newpark Mall Road.
 
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2024:
 
12:16 AM Officer Norvell investigated a hit & run collision near Mowry Avenue & Cherry Street.
 
8:43 AM Officer Medina investigated a wallet theft near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. The wallet was later turned in as found property and returned to the owner.
 
10:55 AM CSO Lau investigated a report of gasoline theft near Cherry Street & Mowry Avenue.
 
3:15 PM CSO Lau investigated a package theft near Central Avenue & Hickory Street.
 
6:56 PM Officers responded to multiple vehicle burglaries actively reported along Cedar Boulevard & Mowry Avenue. Reported loss included backpacks, toolboxes and various power tools.
 
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2024:
 
3:59 PM Officer Kim responded to a report of domestic violence near Central Avenue & Cherry Street. A 22-year-old male was arrested and booked into Santa Rita Jail for corporal injury and threats to a peace officer.
 
6:33 PM CSO Mora investigated an attempted vehicle theft at Cherry Street & Clark Avenue where the door handle and vehicle ignition were tampered with.
 
10:05 PM Officer Berlanga responded to a report of a suspicious person looking into vehicles near Jarvis Avenue & Newark Boulevard. A 42-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
11:24 PM Officer Williams arrested a 39-year-old male at Thornton Avenue & I-880 for driving under the influence and failing to operate with a vehicle interlocking device. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2024:
 
1:51 AM Officer Dale investigated a vehicle burglary near Cedar Boulevard & Mowry Avenue.
 
6:04 AM Officer Pacheco recovered a stolen vehicle near Thornton Avenue & I-880.
 
7:22 AM Officer Lor responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a running vehicle near Lafayette Avenue & Fernwood Drive. Upon investigation, a juvenile was arrested for multiple offenses including vehicle theft, evading police, and possession of a handgun. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
 
10:06 AM Officer C. Torres investigated a vehicle license plate theft near Haley & Bettencourt Streets.
 
6:43 PM Officer Lara investigated a theft of pallets from a business near Newark Boulevard & Jarvis Avenue. 
 
8:06 PM Officer Lara investigated a sexual battery and robbery near Cedar & Newark Boulevards. Reported loss included vehicle keys.
 
11:43 PM Officer Stevenson investigated a vehicle theft near Chapman Drive & Cardiff Street.
 
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2024:
 
4:33 AM Officer Williams recovered a stolen vehicle while on routine patrol near Deborah Street & Zulmida Avenue.
 
7:42 PM CSO Vuong investigated the report of a stolen bicycle from a residence near Hickory Street & Seawind Way.
 
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2024:
 
10:47 AM Officer Orozco investigated a window smash vehicle burglary near Joaquin Murieta Avenue & Cherry Street. Reported loss included a cell phone and wallet.
 
1:04 PM Officer Jackman investigated a license plate theft near Olive Street & Dairy Avenue.
 
8:01 PM CSO Vuong responded to a residential burglary near Sycamore Street & Graham Avenue. Reported loss included power tools and golf clubs.
 
8:25 PM CSO Vuong investigated a pickpocketing theft near Newpark Mall Road.
 
11:52 PM Officer Lara responded to a disturbance near Cedar Boulevard & Joaquin Murieta Avenue. A 42-year-old female was arrested for outstanding warrants and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
