Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges.
On September 13, at approximately 9:53 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division were in the 1200 block of West 2nd Street, when they observed a male subject acting in a suspicious manner. Police attempted to make contact with the male subject, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, officers took 36-year-old James Hall into custody without incident, and recovered a loaded handgun.
Hall has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $29,500 cash-only bail.
