Suspect Crashes Vehicle after Failing to Yield to Deputies in Rancho Cucamonga

LOCATION: Napa Street & Etiwanda Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Brandon Vasquez, Age 27, Resident of Pomona
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at approximately 8:08 A.M., Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to the report of a stolen vehicle. An area check was conducted, and the vehicle was located at Arrow Route & Haven Avenue.
As deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield and continued through the city of Rancho Cucamonga until the vehicle collided with another vehicle at Euclid Street and Arrow Route, in Upland. The driver of the stolen vehicle was identified as Brandon Vasquez.
Vasquez was assessed by San Bernardino County Fire, was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center on charges of VC2800.2(A)- Felony Evading.
