AVOID Kuakini Hwy in Kailua-Kona for the next several hours due to flooding. Some roads closed. 
The Hawaii Police Department advises you to AVOID Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona due to flooding. Heavy rain has created a large amount of water and debri to spill onto the roadway on Kuakini Hwy near Alii Kai subdivision, and has closed Kuakini Hwy, between Lunapule Road and Keakealani Drive, and will require a detour of traffic for the next several hours. Drive with caution.
