3rd Ave Ext Road Work to continue - Water is now being restored - pressure is expected to resume within an hour 
The East Greenbush Water Department has been working over night to repair the water value on the main transmission line that runs down 3rd Ave Ext. The area of Town that is experiencing no pressure to loss of water is between Cedar Crest Drive and the Rensselaer City Line and all side streets in between.
As of 6AM, the Water Department is turning the valve back on, and provided that all goes well, residents should have their water restored to full pressure within an hour.
At this time no boil water advisory.
We will continue to monitor the water pressure within this area throughout the day.
Road work will continue over the next several hours to restore the road. 3rd Ave Ext will remain one lane of alternating traffic between Cedar Crest Drive and Cobblers Lane.
