Real Talk San Mateo Goes Back to School - Sept. 25th at 6pm on Zoom 
Join us for our next episode of Real Talk on Wednesday, September 25th at 6pm, where members of our School Districts will join members of our Youth Services Unit (YSU) to talk about school safety. We want to take this opportunity to go over the San Mateo County Office of Education's Big 5 protocol. We'll clarify for parents the difference between a "shelter in place" vs. "lockdown" and the reasons for their use. We'll also talk about traffic safety around schools and our city's new "Slow for Schools" reduced speed program. And, of course the highlight for everyone, we'll have Rookie (our Therapy K9) and his handler (aka "Rookie's Mom") join us to talk about utilizing Rookie in the schools.
