At 701 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pleasanton to near Mound Valley. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pittsburg, Prairie State Park, Nevada, Fort Scott, Frontenac, Columbus, Girard, Arma, Marmaton, Liberal, Cherokee, Weir, Sherman, Mulberry, Scammon, Chicopee, Mccune, Mindenmines, Franklin, and Bronson. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 92 and 106.
