The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, September 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. Last Call Before Fall and Empty Bowls will be taking place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and details can be found at newlenox.net/events. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
