PRESS RELEASE: Burglary Suspect Apprehended 
LOCATION: 875 Main Street, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: September 19, 2024, 09:17 A.M.
On September 19, 2024, at approximately 5:48 A.M., Redwood City Police Officers responded to Savers located at 875 Main Street in Redwood City on the report of a burglary. Sometime during the night a suspect had smashed a window to the business and entered the store. Approximately $7,500 in merchandise was stolen.
Officers discovered the suspect was captured on video surveillance. While the suspect made attempts to disguise or conceal his appearance, the suspect was recognized as 51 year old Redwood City resident Robert Muller.
At approximately 9:15 A.M., Redwood City Police Officers located Muller in a nearby encampment. Muller was the sole occupant and was wearing some of the stolen merchandise. Additional stolen merchandise was located nearby and recovered at this location.
Muller was later booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for the following charges: Penal Code 460(b) – Burglary, Penal Code 496(a) – Possession of Stolen Property and Penal Code 594(a)(1) – Vandalism.
