UNFOUNDED Criminal Threat in Union City 
On September 19, 2024, city officials received an email which contained a threat of an attack towards “downtown” Union City and another Bay Area city. The local law enforcement agency of the other Bay Area city has been notified. The UCPD Investigations Unit followed all available leads and determined the threat was not credible.
