* At 515 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles west of Velarde, or 12 miles north of Espanola, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... El Rito, Petaca, Ojo Caliente, La Madera, Las Placitas, Medanales and Chili. This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 337 and 371.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RIO ARRIBA, NM ... TAOS, NM
