Burn ban in Oxford 
Because Butler County is currently experiencing drought conditions and the risk of fire is great, the Butler County Fire Chiefs Association have agreed to move forward with a BURN BAN in all outdoor areas of their respective service areas. No open burning will be permitted in the City of Oxford or Oxford Township.
This burn ban is authorized through the Ohio Administrative Code: 1307:7-7-03, section 307.1.2. Questions about the burn ban can be directed to the Oxford Fire Department. Thank you.
