Wilmington Police arrest man on gun and drug charges following investigation:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in August, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into 36-year-old Keith Berry for illegal drug sales. On September 19, at approximately 11:05 a.m., police conducted a vehicle stop in the 400 block of South Harrison Street, and took Berry into custody without incident. Subsequently, police executed search warrants in the 200 block of Lower Oak Street, and the 1200 block of Pleasant Street. Police recovered a loaded .40 caliber handgun, .9 grams of crack cocaine, .406 grams of heroin, 1.7 grams of marijuana, 4 Amphetamine pills, 1 Alprazolam pill, and $613.
Berry has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
- Possession of a Controlled Substance – Two Counts
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
