There are currently TWO Food Drive Competitions for residents to donate to the Maple Shade Food Bank:
1. The Maple Shade School District is hosting their 3rd Annual Food Drive Competition now through October 2, 2024. Students in Pre-K through Grade 6 are asked to bring in non-perishable food items to benefit the Maple Shade Food Bank. The grade that brings in the most donations will receive a pizza party.
2. The Maple Shade Police Department is hosting the 5th Annual Fill-the-Truck Food Competition. Maple Shade sports organizations & community-based groups are invited to compete against one another to raise the largest amount of non-perishable food bank items. All donations collected by each organization/group will be checked-in to the truck at a LIVE event on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, between 5:30PM – 7:30PM, at the Maple Shade Custard Stand. Winners will be notified on November 14, 2024. Please check with your individual organization/group on where to donate food items.
ALL donations benefit the Maple Shade Food Bank which directly assists struggling members of our community.
